What is something you noticed in Avengers: Endgame that you believe others have missed?
How about the fact that Dr. Strange is now at least 70 million years old?
In Infinity War, he tells Stark that he’s seen 14,000,605 futures in which the Avengers only win once. If he were only checking out a single day’s events, that would mean he’d lived more than 38 thousand years, which is pretty damned long. In Endgame, though, it is clear that he’s looked well into each of those futures to determine exactly what needs to happen and how and…
It’s clear he didn’t just look as far as the snap-in of each of those futures, but that he followed them for at least 5 years and probably longer in most cases to see whether the snap would or could be undone. He had to explore every possible action of his and of his companions during those 5 years, and he probably checked well beyond 5 years in most cases.
He didn’t just pop into an arbitrary point in 14,000,605 futures to see how everyone was doing. He observed exactly what had to happen and what could not happen in every scenario.
So, he had to watch at least 5 years- may be as many as 10 or 15- in each of 14,000,605 scenarios to determine whether the snap could be undone and precisely how, which means that in those few twitchy moments in Infinity War, he lived at least 70 million years, minimum.
Dude looks good for his age.
